We are a locally owned and operated business. We have lived in Tamworth for a combined 64 years. We are heavily involved in providing quality products and personalised services. We are primarily known for our firewood. We are passionate about providing the best firewood in Tamworth as a response to the customers resonating regret for the poor quality of firewood they have purchased elsewhere.
Our repeat customers express extreme satisfaction in the quality of our firewood as it is well seasoned. In addition, our customers have been grateful for personal service such as re-opening our gates after hours to pick up their firewood on their way home from work or even lending our tarps, to those who have failed to remember them, in order to avoid fines.
Products
Firewood

We only sell hard wood; Iron Bark, box woods and Red Gum. Our firewood is at least 95% Iron Bark. We do not include Stringy Bark or coastal wood in our mix. Our Iron Bark is sourced from Pilliga and QLD.
Mulch

We deliver the mulch from the TCC tip. We charge a cartage fee plus the cost of the mulch which currently sells for just $22 p/m3. This product is now finely screened and is perfect for large scale gardens.
Used Coffee Grounds

Used coffee grounds are ideal to include in the compost to add nitrogen in which your veggie garden will flourish. Used coffee grounds attract worms and helps the beneficial micro-organisms to assist plants to thrive.
Garden Edging

We offer weathering steel edging that provides a professional high end look to the gardens. The steel flexes evenly with ease, allowing you to create your own design. Comes with pegs and pins for self installation.
Woody
–
Hello, I’m Woody. Welcome to my yard. Macca thinks it’s his yard yet everyone knows it’s mine since the people come to pat me and not him. When you drive in the yard I will not fail to greet you at the gate. Don’t be scared when I stand in front of your car. Just drive in. I do that so I can escort you to my yard. P.S. I make good looking puppies for a fee!
Garden Loam

Ideal for garden beds and turf underlay. Currently using rich black river soil, sawdust and screened cow manure from a dairy farm. Excludes sand or crusher dust to cheaply increase the volume (but not the nutrient content) of the product.
Loader for Hire

The articulated loader is ideal for getting into tight spots to deliver mulch, gravel and soil etc. Included is a spreader bar for sight levelling prior to turf underlay.
Excavator for Hire

Operator and mini Caterpillar excavator for hire. The Caterpillar excavator is an extremely powerful machine purchased to tackle small to medium sized jobs especially in restricted areas. It’s ideal for landscaping, site preparation, retaining walls and pet/livestock burial.
Charlie Carp
Natural complete liquid fish fertiliser used by professional growers across Australia. It contains macro and micro nutrients to help you grow a healthy beautiful garden and lawn. Stocked in bulk so we can pass the savings to you. BYO milk container. 1st L @$8, 2nd L @ $7, 3rd L @ $6. Bulk purchases 4L and more sold @$6/L.
